1. Our position on copyright
Sydney IPTV is a streaming aggregation service. We do not produce, broadcast, host, or claim copyright over the content streamed through our system. The content originates from third-party broadcasters and providers.
We take copyright infringement seriously. If we receive a valid notice that content distributed through our service infringes your copyright, we'll act promptly to remove or disable access to that content while we investigate.
2. Designated agent for copyright notices
Notices alleging copyright infringement should be sent to our designated agent at:
DMCA Agent — Sydney IPTV
Email: [email protected]
Address: 46F2+PM Cité de Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
To make sure your notice is handled as quickly as possible, please include "DMCA Notice" in the subject line.
3. What a valid takedown notice must include
For us to act on your notice, it must include the following information (modeled on Section 512 of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, while also being suitable under Australian copyright law):
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (title, broadcast date, channel name, episode/event details).
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material on our service, with enough detail for us to locate it (channel name as listed, time of broadcast, screenshots if possible).
- Your contact information — full legal name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Incomplete notices may be returned for clarification, which will delay our response.
4. How we handle a valid notice
When we receive a complete and valid notice, we will:
- Acknowledge receipt within 2 business days.
- Review the claim and, where the claim is properly substantiated, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content as quickly as technically possible.
- Notify the affected upstream provider so they can take action on their side as well.
- Keep a record of the notice in line with our retention obligations.
5. Counter-notification
If you believe content was removed in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to [email protected] including:
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and its previous location.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your full legal name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
If we receive a valid counter-notification, we'll forward a copy to the original notifier and may restore the content after 10 to 14 business days unless the original notifier informs us they've initiated court proceedings.
6. Repeat infringers
It is our policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the access of any user, partner, or upstream provider that we determine to be a repeat infringer.
7. False claims
Submitting a false or misleading copyright notice is a serious matter. Under applicable law, you may be held liable for damages (including costs and attorneys' fees) if you knowingly misrepresent that material on our service is infringing or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification.
8. Australian copyright law
This procedure is offered as a courtesy to international rights-holders and does not replace any rights or remedies available under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) or other applicable laws. Australian rights-holders are equally welcome — and encouraged — to contact us using the procedure above.
